The Painter, the Cook & L’Arte di Sacla'

The passion of Sacla’, those irresistibly Italian food people, to share and celebrate the art of regional Italian food, has inspired the publication of an evocative new book called The Painter, the Cook and L’Arte di Sacla’.

Sacla’ invited renowned cook, Anna Del Conte and leading artist, Val Archer to travel around six of the less well known regions of Italy - namely Piedmont, Veneto, Liguria, Le Marche, Puglia and Sardinia, to experience and indulge in the local food culture and create a literary and visual interpretation of their findings.  The result is a visually stunning book which takes you on a gastronomic journey, revealing the products, produce and cooking of these six exciting regions. 

The Painter, the Cook & L’Arte di Sacla’ is a special edition of the book which has been printed exclusively for Sacla’, and only a limited number are being given to friends of the Italian food people. There is another edition available in bookshops called “The Painter, The Cook and the Art of Cucina”, which retails at £25.00.
