BACH FLOWER ESSENCES
T
he Bach Flower Essences are a safe and natural method of healing. They gently restore the balance between mind and body by casting out negative emotions, such as, fear, worry, hatred and indecision which interfere with the equilibrium of the being as a whole.
Bach Flower Essences are made 100% naturally from spring water infused with wild flowers, either by the sun-steeped method or by boiling. The Essences are hand produced exclusively in England. The Essences contain 27% grape brandy as a preservative.
BACH TO NATURE
Dr Edward Bach studied medicine at the University College Hospital, London, where he worked in general practice.
As a bacteriologist and pathologist he originally worked on vaccines and 'homoeopathic nosodes' which are still known as the seven Bach nosodes. He became fed up with the way doctors seemed to concentrate just on diseases - completely ignoring the people who were suffering from them. He began to research his own remedies that would be purer and less reliant on the products of disease (as vaccines were.)
In 1930 he gave up his lucrative Harley Street practice and left London, determined to devote the rest of his life to a system of medicine that could be found in nature. One by one he found his Flower Remedies - each of them aimed at a particular mental state or emotion.
The result of his efforts is the range of Bach Flower Remedies, which have become hugely popular over the past decade or so as people have become disillusioned with simply using drugs to treat symptoms and not addressing their causes.
There are 38 remedies in total and each one is developed to balance a specific emotion, promoting an improved sense of emotional wellbeing. Bach Original Flower Remedies originate from the Bach Centre and are produced according to Dr Bach’s traditional methods.

Caryn, 29, assumed that her lack of energy was just a winter dip. She thought that her energy levels would pick up once spring arrived and with it, warmer weather and lighter mornings, but she continued to feel lethargic and unmotivated. She wanted to be taking advantage of the lovely weather with her friends and getting herself in shape for the summer, but she was still struggling to get out of bed in the mornings. She didn’t notice a huge surge of energy the next day, but after a week or two, she found that mornings no longer seemed to be a problem and she was back to her normal self and looking forward to summe |
