How do I ‘feel’ when I’m making my cosmic connection (from Stephen Richards’ website)
“In a nutshell, you will feel a pressure in the centre of your forehead – this is the 'green' light...GO. You are ready to start connecting. In order to stimulate the magnetic field around the pineal gland (cosmic eye), allow your mind to focus on the midway point between the pineal gland and the pituitary body.
The creative part of your mind will start to function without any effort. With your eyes closed, you should be concentrating on the pineal gland. Just think of doing it and it will happen automatically. Your cosmic eye will become activated, maybe only a little at first, but with regular application of this method it will awaken even more...
A Cosmic Christmas Shopping List
So, you want all your dreams to come true? It's the time of year where the little ones are writing to Santa but even grown ups now have their own form of Christmas list .or so Noel Edmonds would have us believe.
The next time you sit glued to Deal or no Deal, think about Noel Edmonds, who until last year was consigned very much to the dustbin of TV history, along with that infernal blow up doll, Mr Blobby. Everything changed for Noel when his reflexologist gave him a book about cosmic ordering. My reflexologist never gives me books on cosmic ordering, but he does tell me that if I want something, I just have to ‘ask the universe’ – it must be a reflexologist thing.
What is it?
The idea behind cosmic ordering is that you place an official order with the cosmos for your heart’s desire – and the cosmos, like a benevolent Santa Claus, will deliver. Noel has put in several orders, and the cosmos has not let him down once. The first order was for a hit show; something his daughters would watch; by October 2005.
Apparently, he got the call about Deal or No Deal in August.
The book that Noel read was by German best selling author Baerbel Mohr, who used the Cosmic Ordering Service to sort out her life and even get her a castle. Her book, widely hailed as the trend setter in the subject is called “The Cosmic Ordering Service”
How does it work?
So, how does it work? I decided to give this cosmic ordering malarkey a go myself, and decided that the first step was to do my research. In Stephen Richards’ book, ‘Cosmic Ordering Guide’, the theory behind the frankly too-good-to-be-true concept is expanded upon. In a nutshell, you use the energy around you to create what you want –and the technicalities are a cross between Albert Einstein’s Unified Field Theory (look it up, it’s far too complicated for me to explain), the science of electro-magnetics, and positive thinking. In simple terms, the theory would have us believe that the universe is abundant. We create what we have around us, through our thinking, and Cosmic Ordering is just a disciplined way of concentrating the power of positive thought in a way that attracts what we want.
It’s a controversial idea but not actually that new. Back in 1910, a very religious gent called (no I am not making this up) Wallace D. Wattles, had the very same idea. He was of the opinion that being poor is not God’s plan for his people, in fact he wants us all to be rich. Therefore, good old Wallace came up with his book ‘The Science of Getting Rich’ which is circulated free on the internet by someone called Tim Ong. The science behind ‘getting rich’ is that – you guessed it - thinking about what it is that you want, will bring it to you. Or in Wallace’s own words,
“There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which in it’s original state, permeates, penetrates and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought, in this substance, produces the thing that is imaged by the thought. Man can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created”
Read all about it
I’ve now read three books on the subject, and of the three, Stephen Richards’ is the best by far. Don’t, whatever you do, buy Jonathan Cainer’s version. It’s truly awful and impossible to read, because all you want to do is throw it across the room in frustration at the writer’s inability to make any kind of rational point. There is another similar book by Lynn Grabhorn, ‘excuse me, your life is waiting’ which is similar, but a bit too Americanised for me. Of course Wallace D. Wattle’s book is a good place to start…as it’s free. It’s a bit hard going in places though.
My next step, having tried and failed to locate my cosmic eye (according to Stephen, it’s also known as the pineal gland) to cast a cosmic spell in any way that resulted in the manifestation of my heart’s desires, was to do some web-surfing. I was directed to The Cosmic Ordering Forum which looked intriguing and offered a place where you could make your orders and even give a delivery date. Fantastic! According to forum contributors, placing orders has led to wishes being granted for the return of lost jewellery, job offers, and even a koala in the back garden…although granted, it was an Australian garden…
I couldn’t resist, and I’ve placed my orders already. Mine are:
SARAH’S WISH LIST –
| Order | Due Date |
| I want the next person who comes to see my house to make an offer for the full asking price | November 2006 |
| I want to emigrate to Calgary, Canada | November 2007 |
| I want to find a job in Calgary that makes me happy and earns me at least CAN$40,000 a year | December 2007 |
There were a couple of more personal ones there too.
After writing this and placing my ‘order’ – we sold the house within two weeks - now I’m hoping for a fast, trouble-free sale!. Stranger things have happened…look at Noel Edmonds!
