IT’S WHAT’S ON THE OUTSIDE THAT COUNTS
"What do people see when they look at you? Do they see your inner beauty? Your good ideas, your friendly thoughts, your small-time visions?
Let me assure you: they don’t. It’s what’s on the outside that counts. My designs are for people who want to stick out and express themselves."
GET THE HEDGE TRIMMERS OUT, GIRLS...
With the fashion season in full flow, one trend which a new designer is hoping will catch on next Spring / Summer 2007, has been the subject of a surprise internet hit.
Thousands of eager 'beavers' have been downloading a new video which showcases ‘follicular fashion’ or ‘pubic pruning’ which its designer is heralding as next season’s big thing. weapon of beauty!
Consternation about the new designer has spread quickly amongst the fashion community who are condemning it as a cheap publicity stunt. Fashion designers? Publicity stunts? Perish the thought. Up and coming fashion designer Stefane Monzön claims, "Why shouldn’t pubic grooming be an art form? It gives women confidence – the confidence to go out and succeed."
Well. girls, next time you want to impress at an interview - I'd suggest sticking what appears to be part of an emu to your nether regions and strutting your stuff. That'll do it! Stefane explains, "While studying fashion I learnt one very simple philosophy – that, it’s what’s on the outside that counts. Clever people who use every aspect of their looks go far!"
Hmmm. The great fashion strimmer debate looks set to run and run...i don't think stefane would make a very good life coach. But it gave me an excuse to feature something bizarre on the website, anyway.
The designs for the LadyGarden Collection Stefane showcases for Spring / Summer 2007 all have one common thread. Each piece features elaborate and intricate patterns all fashioned from bikini hair! The designs were created with the help of Remington’s NEW Confidence Cordless Bikini Trimmer (BKT3000) costing £19.99 – a handy trimmer for keeping hair ‘down there’ neat, tidy and fashion friendly.
