NO BUTTS! LET ALQVIMIA HELP YOU PACK IT IN...
In celebration of No Smoking Day this week, and in anticipation of the last fag butts being stubbed out in England's pubs and clubs this Summer, Alqvimia has introduced a brand new body treatment to reduce the toxic effects of tobacco on skin, body and mind...
Alqvimia think that smokers' skin needs special care and attention…and that they should help you give up by introducing a treatment so blissful sounding that it’s almost worth becoming a smoker just to try it!
Euw!
Smokers’ skin is exposed to the effects of tobacco smoke, either indirectly (due to contact with the airborne substances in smoke) or directly (through the blood stream.) Tobacco causes skin damage all over the body but is usually more obvious on the face and hands.
Puffing away also dehydrates the epidermis and provokes destruction of the elastic fibres of the dermis – which causes that telltale appearance of wrinkles and premature skin ageing, Lack of oxygen to the skin cells through reduction in the circulation of oxygen can leave smokers’ skin grey and dull.
So…what to do?
The Breathe Easy Wellbeing Rite uses pure aromatherapy oils and procedures to take your mind off the evil weed – and at the same time moisturise, oxygenate and detoxify stressed skin, calm and relax the mind, and to help you with your resolve to give up, it also separates the tobacco-endorphin relationship using clever accupressure techniques.
The treatment is designed to help soon-to-be ex-smokers breathe more easily and soothes the problems caused by poor respiration.
The Breathe Easy Wellbeing Rite
Your respiratory channels will be stimulated with the divine smelling Alqvimia Breathe Easy Aromatherapy blend and your acupressure energy points targeted to boost the flow of ‘who needs ciggies anyway’ endorphins.
Your whole body will be treated to a delicious dead sea salt and carrot oil body exfoliation, not just to make you feel great, but to-activate micro-circulation and improve increased cellular oxygenation, then you’ll be cocooned in a body wrap of Alqvimia Dead Sea mud blended with pure essential oils.
During the body wrap, you’ll be facially cleansed, toned, and exfoliated – then have the luxury of a Dead Sea Mud face mask. There’s even more…afterwards you’ll have a facial massage with a blend of three pure carrier oils too.
As if that isn’t enough, you’ll be led to a bath steeped with a combination of five appropriate essential oils, and finished off with a relaxing body massage designed to activate the appropriate energy points.
No Smoking Day
No Smoking Day is an annual health awareness campaign that helps smokers that want to stop. The first No Smoking Day was on Ash Wednesday in 1984 and it now takes place on the second Wednesday in March. The campaign is now in its 24th year and is a firm fixture in the UK calendar because of its continuing success. On No Smoking Day 2006 1.5 million smokers made a quit attempt and millions more used the Day to take a step towards stopping smoking.
The campaign is run by a charity of the same name, which is based in London and has four full-time staff. The charity is funded by a coalition of governmental and voluntary sector organisations with an interest in health
