gifts with extra feelgood factor

If you want to buy your Christmas pressies and donate to charity at the same time, look no further than Amazon. The NSPCC has launched a Christmas site built around the Amazon website, which gives 10% commission on any gifts you order from a special wish list.

Nspccwishes.org.uk wants everybody to sign up and create their Christmas wishlists through Amazon.

Once you've chosen what you want Santa to deliver this year, you can click to share your list with your friends and family. For each item bought from the list, the NSPCC will get up to 10% commission. The charity also has a range of recommended gifts for which it receives a higher rate of commission.

The site will encourage visitors to get involved by leaving a Christmas message on the interactive 'Wishwall'. Users can then support others messages by 'cheering' them.

The NSPCC is embracing tecnology with gusto at the moment - it's also extended its Facebook application to push the Full Stop campaign, and more than 12,000 users have so far installed it.

To set up your wishlist all you have to do is:

  1. Create the wishlist
  2. Choose the gifts you want on Amazon
  3. Invite others to view your wishlist
  4. Sit back and wait for some cracking presents on Christmas Day!
