The Ultimate in ringtones?

I just had to bring you this - if you're fed up with last year's Crazy Frog and want something a bit more, well, original, how about a karaoke ringtone?

ReVoice Singtones is a personalised ringtone service that gives you a chance to record your own very unique ringtones by recording your own, sweet voice to hits from well known artists.

For those of us not blessed with Beyonce’s voice (OR her booty) the voice enhancing technology, apparently developed for use in professional music and movie studio, can change your voice so that you are in tune and make you sound great. The cynics among us (and my husband) may say that it would take more than clever technology to make my singing voice pitch-perfect, but what do they know?

Singtones can be created from a PC, by logging onto the website, where you can download the Singtone Studio programme and begin singing away to Lily Allen, McFly, Madonna, Elvis and many more. That’s what we need, more Elvis impersonators...

If you prefer, you can also get song codes and lyrics from the website and create your Singtones by phone. Either way you can rehearse and record your Singtone as many times as you like, which is probably just as well, and then send it to a music-playing mobile phone.

You only pay for the Singtone when you send it – you don’t have to pay subscriptions, so if you fancy a laugh, get onto the website and make like Madonna…albeit with a sore throat in my case...
