RACHAEL...

"I surround myself with people that excite and support me. I make time to still my body and my mid, usually through meditation.

The 'Law of Attraction', where like attracts like, is a fascinating and powerful force.  I make time every day to turn my thoughts to all the positive things I want in my life and I accompany this with gratitude for the fantastic things I already have. "

HOW TALL IS YOUR SPAGHETTI? - Rachael Garside

"A strong intuition grabbed hold of me and I leapt right in with total trust and excitement to follow it.  That was how I came to set up Tall Spaghetti last year.

Tall Spaghetti is a company offering bespoke personal development training to groups of people, with some one to one work.  The training enhances well-being through promoting positive mental attitudes and positive working environments.

Tall Spaghetti training covers a wide range of themes, including goals, confidence and life balance, but always focuses on enhancing the positive and reducing the negative. The company’s tagline is ‘…because Positive People Perform!’

The training leads to higher levels of personal effectiveness, which has a beneficial impact on productivity levels, saving companies time and money and giving them a competitive edge.

We have a right to happiness

"I believe we all have a right to happiness. We spend a huge proportion of our waking hours at work and we should make it an experience which supports our happiness.  My bigger mission is to contribute to the betterment of the universe - quite a big mission!

My route into this field was not  formal. One of the main drivers was comments  from friends about my ‘relentlessly positive’ attitude. I started to look at how I managed it, the benefits that it gave me, and how it could transfer to the corporate world. There is a huge market for this work as more and more companies are understanding the value of taking a proactive approach to the well-being of their employees.

Fantastic response

The response from clients has been fantastic and I just love being able to make a positive impact in people’s lives. I have always been fascinated by and passionate about people. One of the earlier experiences I draw upon in terms of my own personal development is when I massively pushed myself out my comfort zone by spending six months in Russia at the age of 21.

I am an avid reader of books about personal development, positive attitude and spirituality.  I have a thirst for knowledge.  The more I adopt a positive approach, the better my health, energy and vibrancy are.  I used to get common illnesses like colds, like many people, but in recent times, I simply don’t get ill. I live my life on purpose, choosing only positive influences. I generally find TV and newspapers negative and unstimulating - so I avoid them!

I surround myself with people that excite and support me. I make time to still my body and my mind, usually through meditation. The 'Law of Attraction', where like attracts like, is a fascinating and powerful force.  I make time every day to turn my thoughts to all the positive things I want in my life and I accompany this with gratitude for the fantastic things I already have.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming

I am a Master Practitioner of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). I had the privilege of being trained by Paul McKenna and by Richard Bandler, the co-creator of NLP. NLP has been called 'the study of human excellence' and no matter what field you are in, NLP is a powerful set of tools which enable you to run your life.

Your behaviour can be programmed, you can make yourself competent, flexible and resourceful. You can do more of what you want, get more of what you want and be more of what you want.

It feels fantastic to have done all this by following my intuition and to know that I am on my path. I love the now - and am so excited about the future"
